Mousehold Heath is the largest Local Nature Reserve managed by the Council's Green Spaces Team. There is a wealth of wildlife on Mousehold Heath's 187 acres, including birds, lizards, butterflies, dragonflies and grey squirrels. As well as common woodland birds, there are green and greater-spotted woodpeckers and numerous jays. There are picnic tables opposite Zaks restuarant , public toilets at the side of Zaks restaurant, and a pitch and putt course further up the road from Zaks.
